The summer is all about glowing skin, which is why the Jane Iredale Summer 2016 Collection is an essential. The collection includes three shimmery bronzers and a new shade of their LipDrink in Flirt. The bronzers are meant to give you “the good glow” meaning a natural, sun kissed look without exposure to harmful rays. Subsequently, the new LipDrink in Flirt is a balm that is meant to hydrate and protect your lips while providing a hint of color.
1. Moonglow Golden Bronzer [$44 get it here]
The Moonglow Golden Bronzer is a gold (hence the name) toned bronzer which is perfect for light/medium skin tones. All of the bronzers in this collection contain four colors which can be mixed together, or used separately, depending on your preference. Also, all of the bronzers can be used as eyeshadows.

As you can see, the bronzer is very pigmented and shimmery. I love taking a tapered highlighting brush and using the two lighter shades in this pan as a highlighter. For bronzer, I mix all of the shades together.
2. Rose Dawn Bronzer [$44 get it here]
The Rose Dawn Bronzer is not really a bronzer, but more of a blush. Nonetheless, it is still beautiful. It is pigmented and shimmery just like the other ones.

Because it looks like a blush, I use this bronzer as a blush and it works really well! It gives a flush of pink and a wonderful glow at the same time. This is best for light and medium skin tones. Although I have a light/medium complexion, I wish there was a rosy bronzer for darker skin tones.
3. Sunbeam Bronzer [$44 get it here]
The Sunbeam Bronzer is a bronzer meant for darker skin tones! I am really happy that this collection keeps every single person in mind. This bronzer, is yet again very creamy and pigmented!

Although there wasn’t a blush like shade for darker skin tones, this bronzer is actually a dark pink color when you mix all of the colors together. This pan is actually the most versatile because the first two shades can be used as bronzers, the third shade can be used as a highlight, and the last shade and all of the shades combined can be used as a blush.
4. LipDrink Lip Balm in Flirt [$15 get it here]
The LipDrink in Flirt is a lip balm wish SPF 15, protecting your lips form the sun while giving a sheer pinky/peachy tint. It is supposed to smell like lemon, so it smells very fresh and sharp (if that makes sense?) and it isn’t too creamy, which I love.
Swatch of the LipDrink in Flirt:
I love the pinky/peachy tint this gives! It really reminds me of pink lemonade, one of my favorite drinks in the summer. This is perfect for those no makeup-makeup days.
The verdict:
I think this line is more for light/medium skin tones and people who are looking for products that will leave a natural and glowing look. I do wish there were more options for darker skin tones and matte bronzers. Another thing is that you can only buy the bronzers in pans and you need to purchase the compact separately for $18, so together they are $62. However, they are very pigmented, bendable, and soft but not too soft.
