FOREO ISSA Hybrid in Mint | A6 Memobottle | Studio Gear Cosmetics True Whipped Stain Gloss in True Pebble | Shop LVX Nail Lacquer in Blush | Poweradd Pilot 2GS Portable Charger in Rose Gold

I won’t say too much about the FOREO ISSA Hybrid because I made a post comparing it to an Oral-B toothbrush, which can be found here. The FOREO ISSA Hybrid is such a luxurious toothbrush and great for sensitive and normal teeth.

The A6 Memobottle is very small, about the size of a book and it is really easy to store. I also love the fact that it comes with a black and white cap. I will have full blog posts coming up on the Studio Gear Cosmetics lippie and the LVX Nail Lacquer coming up.

What were some of your favorites this month?

Spongellé has created a bath sponge that is infused with body wash. I love a good bath because it really helps me feel clean and refreshed. Also, I love that the body wash and the sponge are together, saving you time. The Boxed Flower – Papaya Zuzu* from Spongellé is essential for a relaxing bath.

Upon opening it, I could immediately smell the wonderful aroma that it produced. It has a clean yet bright smell that is simply amazing. Furthermore, after all of the body wash has been used, you can continue to use it as a regular bath sponge. Get it here for only $16.

Will you be trying out the Spongellé Boxed Flowers?

FOREO ISSA Hybrid VS. Oral B

FullSizeRender 2.jpg

I love electrical toothbrushes and I was so excited when FOREO sent me their ISSA Hybrid in Mint to post about! I will be comparing the ISSA Hybrid to the Oral-B Pro 5000 SmartSeries with Bluetooth Electric Rechargeable Power Toothbrush so that you guys know which one to get. Electric toothbrushes are simply an amazing investment and I could never go back to a regular toothbrush.

Monthly Favorites | February 2016

Hi guys! I have some favorites that I discovered this month and I want to share them with you. I hope you try out some of these products and love them as much as I do.

1. TRUE By Isaac Mizrahi Blush in Chestnut ($24)

To be honest, this blush looks really weird in the pan, but swatches and applies beautifully. It is a beautiful dusty rose color, which is my favorite. I love how it is very matte, which is perfect for my oily skin. It is also very pigmented but doesn’t get messy. The only thing that I don’t like about this blush is that the pan it comes in is really small, so it is a little bit of a hassle to pick up the product. They actually sent over a few items, so I think I will be doing a review/first impressions on them so stay tuned! Continue reading

Juara Skincare Review

Hi everyone! I hope you had a great new year. So Juara Skincare was kind enough to send me some of their items to review!

DISCLAIMER: I received these products complimentary for review purposes. All opinions are my own and I am not being paid for a positive review.

Some info on the company:

Juara Skincare is a cruelty-free brand founded by four culturally diverse women. They are also Paraben-free, Sulfate-free, Phthalate-free, Gluten-free, Free of Harsh Chemicals & Artificial Colorants and they are 100% vegan. They use Indonesian herbs to create their products.

1) Tumeric Antioxidant Radiance Mask:  ($37)

This mask contains White Tumeric and Kaolin Clay which are supposed to help detoxify and brighten your skin. I only received enough for about one use which is a bummer because I like to test out a mask for at least a week before determining if I like it or not. After my one use though, my face did feel refreshed. My sample (I’m guessing they sent me a sample) did not come with instructions which I did find a little shady. I did some searching and found the instructions online. This mask is streaky and clumps while using it, so I would recommend wetting it and then applying it for a more even texture.

This is the jar they sent me after one use. As you can see, it is pretty much empty. I will put a picture of the full size below so you can see what it looks like. web_Tumeric_Antioxidant_001.jpg

Overall Rating: 3/5 This is only because it was streaky. I’m sorry that I can’t give you guys a review about the long-term benefits, but you can purchase the mask here and try it yourself. Comment below your thoughts on the mask if you try it!

2) Candlenut Body Creme: ($35)

This is a body creme that moisturizes your skin without making it feel greasy. I received 1.5 ounces of this and the full size is 7.5 ounces. This   cruelty free, as all of their products are. The creme has a strong perfume-like smell, but I do like it. It is very moisturizing and not greasy compared to other brands like vaseline, which is too greasy for me. The packaging is the same as the full size, but smaller.

Overall Rating: 4.5/5 This is because it is better than most body creams and lotions, but it is a little over priced. I would recommend buying this over other brands if you want to splurge on a body cream.

3) Clove and Flower Tumeric Youth Serum: ($65)

I am really sorry about this, but I am only in college and I don’t have wrinkles yet, so I cannot rate this product. I have passed it along to my mom, however and I will use her response. So my mom says that this product smells good and she likes the texture. She says it has slightly improved her wrinkles and that she would need to try it for a little longer in order to make a full decision. The size they sent me was .34 ounces and the full size is 1 ounce. My mom says that she may purchase it because the serum seems promising. A picture of the full size is on the left.

Screen Shot 2016-01-01 at 6.26.40 PM.pngIMG_1268.JPG

Overall Rating: 3.5/5 My mom says that this is because it is promising but she can’t see the long term effects so she cannot make a final decision. She encourages people to try it though!

4) Candelnut Hydrating Shower Gel: ($28)

This is a body wash, what has Candlenut oil (smells the same as the body creme.) I love this scent so much! This shower gel/body wash made me smell great and made me feel so refreshed. People even complimented me on my perfume, when I wasn’t wearing any! The scent lasts all day which is something that I have never seen. The product looks white in the bottle, but comes out translucent. I am a huge fan of this and will be purchasing this again. They sent me 2 ounces and the full size is 12 ounces. I wish I had more because I love this and its currently sold out :(.

Candlenut Hydrating Shower Gel - With Ingredient_3-13-2013-08-39-34.jpgIMG_1270.JPG

Overall Rating: 5/5 This is because I really love this product! Candlenut Oil is one of the best discoveries I have made!

So that is the end of my review! I hope you enjoyed it and that you try out Juara Skincare. Also use the promo code JUAAMB4127 to get 10% off any order so that you can try out these products for less! Influenster Jingle Voxbox Unboxing!

Hi guys! So Influenster choose me to receive their #jinglevoxbox! Influenster is a place where you take some surveys, and eventually they send you a voxbox based on what would interest you. I have been using Influenster for a few months and this is my first box! The best way to get a voxbox is to stay active. Create lists, earn badges, and leave product reviews! I am so excited to see what’s inside.

First look: IMG_0813.JPG
So this one is smaller than other boxes I’ve seen, but it is stuffed! I am so pumped guys!

What is inside:

So as you can see, there is a lot of stuff. I will tell you my thoughts on each item below :).

1) itty bittys® Olaf Stuffed Animal ($7)

Screen Shot 2015-12-22 at 1.35.51 PM.png

So these retail for about $7, which is awesome because I got it for free through Influenster!. They are so cute and soft, and would make perfect gifts for children.

2) City Proof 24 Hour Eyeliner (dark brown)  ($3.50)

So this is a look I created with my eyeliner from Influenster! I love how it glides on so smoothly, but I don’t generally wear brown eyeliner. It does look okay, so I might start wearing it!

3) Biscoff Cookies ($2?)

These are so good! I love them for a snack. I totally recommend! They are the perfect blend of cinnamon and crunch!

4) Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream (Full Size: $23)

Screen Shot 2015-12-31 at 7.02.52 PM.png

This is a lightweight moisturizer that works for all skin types, but is best with dry and sensitive skin. I loved it! It made my skin look much better during the harsh winter.

5) KISS Lashes and Adhesive

I don’t wear fake lashes, so I will be passing these to a friend.

6) Pure Ice Nail Polish

This was just a glittery nail polish that I wouldn’t wear. I will also be passing this to a friend. I sent her a picture of it and she thinks its a perfect color for the winter! I would check it out if you like glitter.

Screen Shot 2015-12-31 at 9.02.37 PM.png

So that’s it! There was also a coupon for a free bag of tater tots that I have yet to use. This was a great first box and I hope to receive more in the future! Happy New Year Everyone (in the US!)

See you,

New Fave: Indie Lee Skincare

Hi guys! So Indie Lee was so generous and sent me some samples/products from their brand to review! I hope you like this post and don’t forget to comment below and follow this blog so you don’t miss any new posts!

Disclaimer: The products were provided by the company, but all opinions are my own.

Some information about the company:

Indie Lee is also an environmentally friendly company, as they only use all natural ingredients. This make me feel much better knowing that no harmful chemicals will be going into my skin. They even have a section on their website listing all of the good ingredients and bad ingredients that are usually found in skincare products on the market. This is very useful for when I purchase from them and other brands.

On with the review:

So the first product I received was their Blemish Stick (retails for $28 on their website) which is meant to target those pesky pimples that just won’t go away. It contains  Salicylic Acid, (reduces inflammation, evens out skin tone, and unclogs pores) Isopropyl Alcohol, (dries excess oil to clear blemishes and reduces pore size) and Witch Hazel (cleans the want between uses). This product has never been tested on animals (yay!) and it is 100% natural. It does smell like rubbing alcohol (because of the Isopropyl Alcohol) but I actually do not mind it because gives it a fresh scent. FullSizeRender-3.jpg

The stick actually has a doe foot applicator, (like most lip glosses) which makes it very easy to apply the product. I also love the packaging, it is really simple, yet cute. When I applied the product to my face, it stung for about a second, but felt fine. I do feel it working and slowly reducing the size of my pimple. A little bit goes a long way with this product, but I don’t recommend it for sensitive skin, because it is a little bit harsh. Since I do not have sensitive skin, I was fine. Another perk with this product is that it applies clear and you could easily put concealer or any makeup over it. Overall, this is a great spot treatment for a pesky pimple.

The next products are some sample sizes that they also sent me to try out. They did tell me that their inventory was low, so be quick to buy great skincare items for any skin type/problem on their website!

So one of the samples that I received was their Lavender Moisturizing Oil. Once again, I love the packaging! This is meant for hydrating anywhere you have dry skin. For me, it is my hands/cuticles, so I simply applied a few drops of this onto my skin and it worked like a charm! I will probably be purchasing this item as it works so well.

The last thing I received was their Brightening Cleanser which is a gel based cleanser that hydrates, cleans, and leaves you feeling fresh. The coolest thing about this was that it can act as a simple makeup remover and even an exfoliator! Just leave it on your face for 5-10 minutes before washing it off and it will gently exfoliate your face for a radiant, clear completion.

That’s it for today! I would love to hear your opinion on these products. Comment what you think below! Also, what else should I review? Request products and don’t forget the follow my blog.

With love,

Beauty Favorites 12/15

Hi everyone! I hope you are having a great day. This month, I have a few products that I would love to tell you guys about. Lets get started!

1) CARGO Gel Lip Color:

This was sent to me from CARGO’s latest instagram promotion, where you had to have three friends follow their instagram and they would send you a gift. My gift was one of these lipsticks and let’s just say they are amazing. They have extremely high pigmentation (they could be a lip stain.) Also, they are not streaky and a little bit goes a long way. I have included swatches of the lipstick below.

Screen Shot 2015-12-09 at 8.40.20 PM.png

As you can see, it is a very nice almost berry color, that is highly pigmented. It does apply lighter on the lips, but I don’t think my camera truly captured the lipsticks high pigmentation and beautiful berry color. The packaging is also so cute! I have never tried out cargo cosmetics prior to this, but I am extremely impressed with their brand!

2) Tarte BB Tinted Treatment 12 Hour Primer SPF 30:

I am not going to post swatches because this stuff just becomes part of my skin. It makes you look like you aren’t wearing any makeup while giving you lots of coverage. It also primes so you don’t need a separate primer! I use this every day! Screen Shot 2015-12-09 at 8.39.47 PM

I think this is it! I know that it’s really short, but I didn’t have many favorites this month. As it is only the beginning of the month, I will add more if I find any new products. Also, comment your December favs and I will try some of them out! Maybe I will add them to the list if I like them! I hope you guys have a great holiday season!

Beauty Favorites! (11/15)

Hi guys! I’m sorry that I haven’t posted in a while! I was so busy with schoolwork and life was pretty crazy. But, I’m back! So every month, I’m going to do a beauty favorites. This will be a list of 5 beauty/hair/skincare products that I think are worth trying. I hope you enjoy this post and don’t forget to follow my blog! Also, this is an honest post and I am not getting paid by any of these companies.

Drum roll please…

1) Dennis Gross One Step Acne Eliminating Pads: ($38)

I have some acne and using one pre-soaked pad on my face right after I clean it has done wonders for me. When you put on the product it does sting, but that goes away quickly and it is worth it for the amazing results. It is not exactly cheap, but it is worth every penny! s1497858-main-hero-300.jpg2) Sephora Rouge Infusion Lip Stain in Peony: ($14)

This lip stain is so pretty! Especially the color Peony, it is like a dark magenta with a semi-matte finish. I have not tried the other colors, but I am sure that you will find a color that suits you because there are 15 to choose from! The only thing that I don’t like about this lip stain is the smell. The perfume is way strong and just smells weird. However, this is still a great lip stain.

3) Not Your Mother’s Long and Strong Shampoo: ($6)

I am trying to grow out my hair and this shampoo (I don’t use conditioner) has made my hair noticeably longer and well, stronger. It smells great and the packaging is so cute which is always a plus!

4) Smashbox Pore Minimizing Primer: ($39)

This is really good for making large pores appear smaller. It’s also great or eliminating shine! It is expensive, but I never put on makeup without it.

5) Burt’s Bees Lip Crayons: ($9)

I love these because they have a nice color and they are 100% natural. I have the shades Carolina Coast, Sedona Sands, and Niagara Overlook. Niagara Overlook is my favorite because it is a very pretty pink that is vibrant without being too bright.
