Peaches and Petals Unboxing | March 2016

Hi guys! So Peaches and Petals was kind enough to send me one of their boxes to unbox here on my blog. Peaches and Petals is a monthly hand-curated lifestyle subscription service that sends box with 5-7 lifestyle, fashion, and beauty items. Also, it is $19.99 per month (including shipping) and ships to the Untied States.

First look:

The theme for this month’s box was ‘life life in color’, and right away you can see that all of the items fit the theme! The items came in well packed box with the logo and some really pretty tissue paper on the inside. The box contained six items this month.

The box comes with a card that lists all of the items in the box. That is useful, but I wish it listed the prices. It also comes with a card with information about a giveaway that they are doing.

1. Sassy Fras Splatter Paint Bath Bomb ($6)

This bath bomb is so pretty! The name ‘Splatter Paint’ fits perfectly with the color theme. Also, it is cruelty free and vegan! It is supposed to smell like jelly beans but I think is unscented, which is the only negative. Nonetheless, I am still super excited to try it.

2. Stress Relieving Coloring Book ($7.99)

I can’t seem to find this exact one anywhere but there are some similar ones here, so I used the price of those. This is one of those adult coloring books that have been trending recently. I am excited to play with this! I will be using this when I am bored. Also, it has about 40 pages, which will last me a long time.

3. Colored Pencil Set With Sharpener ($5.99?)

I also can’t seem to find these anywhere, but found something similar here. I am guessing they were made for this box exclusively, since they say “Live Life in Color” on them. It comes with 12 pencils, which are the size of golf pencils (3 1/2 inches sharpened.) They come in a compact container that has a sharpener on the top of the lid, which is a really cool idea! These are meant to go with the coloring book and are great for travel.

4. Pencil Case? ($3?)

Again, I can’t find this anywhere! It says on the information card that there will be a colorful surprise, and I’m guessing that this is it. It says “enjoy everything” in the middle and it is pink with white polka dots on the inside. It looks cute, but isn’t really my style. Also, the quality is terrible. When I tried to open this, the zipper got stuck and popped off. Thankfully, I was able to put it back on. It just feels cheap overall, so I am not a fan.

5. “Color Me Inspired” Mug With Spoon ($10?)

I love coffee mugs, so I was excited when I saw this. I love that it comes with a spoon too! It says “be a fruit look in a world full of cheerios” which I find a little bit tacky, but I don’t mind. Also, the quality is much better than the pencil case.

6. Eye Majic ($2?)

Finally, a beauty item! I couldn’t find these anywhere either, but their website can be found here. I am really curious to try these because they are supposed to be disposable eyeshadow applicators, which is such a cool idea. I also love neutral colors, which is another plus!

7. Pretty in Pink Slim Charger ($10?)

IMG_9357.jpg

This isn’t even on the information card and I am a little bit confused because it says that there will be a colorful surprise. I thought that the colorful surprise was going to be the pencil case, but the more items the better! Anyway, this charger is super slim and only about 3 inches long. It is a dark pink metallic and it is very light. I think it will be great for travel!

Okay guys! That is the entire box. There are seven items in total with a value of about $45 (this is approximate because I had to guess a lot of the prices.) It is a pretty good deal, but I have seen better. I am excited about most of the items though! I love the variety. I also have a special discount code for you guys! Enter ‘PEACHFOXES‘ at checkout for 50% off your first box! Keep in mind that this is not valid on the 3, 6, and 12 month subscriptions. I hope you enjoyed this review and stay tuned for more unboxings!

What did you guys think of the box? Will you try it? Leave a comment below! I love hearing your thoughts.

Love you all,

Denise

  1. Does your charger work? If so, how long did you charge it before using? I tried mine out and it only charged my phone for like 3 minutes, maybe I need to charge the charger longer?
